about

"Unnamed" can both be seen as being about a more existential loss of identity and meaning in one's life, but also a more specific comment on neurological deterioration in illnesses such as dementia. Written through the perspective of the individual experiencing this deterioration, it focuses on the clinging to what's left of their memory, but also the apparent dread of knowing the terrible outcome of one's situation while losing the ability to reach out and communicate with people around you
